... Freeze warning in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am CST
    Saturday...

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a freeze
warning... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am CST
    Saturday.

A cold dome of high pressure will settle over the region tonight
with very cold temperatures expected overnight. Low temperatures
should range from 29 to 32 degrees for a duration of 2 to 4 hours
mainly after midnight through shortly after sunrise Saturday.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation. Care should be taken for outdoor pets.
