Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-
Synopsis
High pressure continues to build over southeast Texas as low pressure south of Louisiana shifts east. Light to moderate north winds overnight to veer southeast Sunday as the surface ridge shifts east and a weak low pressure trough move across North Texas. With winds remaining light to moderate seas should become very favorable reaching a minimum Sunday afternoon. A stronger trough is then forecast to follow on the heels of Sunday/S trough with southeast winds and seas increasing Monday. Marginal Small Craft Advisory criteria is possible Monday night into early Tuesday in advance of a fairly strong cold front expected to move south of the Rio Grande River around sunset Tuesday. Small craft advisories are likely to be posted later Tuesday and continue Wednesday.

Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to around 10 knots after midnight. Seas 1 to 3 feet. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through the night. Areas of fog after midnight.
